Looking forward to our first crop of Sangiovese Brunello and Chardonnay. May 7, 2004 Planted a new block of St. Vincent grapes, these are French hybrid and can make a wonderful red wine. June 14, 2003 Consultation with Jeff Cox, author of From Vines to Wines assists in developing our organic growing methods. June 1, 2003. Santeetlah Vineyard Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blocks planted. May 29, 2003. Little T. Vineyard plans developed for blocks of Seyval Blanc and Chambourcin to be planted in spring 2004. May 2, 2003. Three Rivers selects NoveVine of Sonoma CA as preferred provided of grafted vinfera vines based on their high quality benchgrafts. April 21, 2003. Santeetlah Vineyard Chardonnay and Sangiovese blocks are in their 2nd season. September 12, 2002. Three Rivers and Oceanwide Holdings Inc agree to establish the Little T. vineyard in Swain County overlooking Lake Fontana. April 30, 2002. Santeetlah Vineyard's Chardonnay and Sangiovese vines planted. March 8, 2002. Consultations with viticulture experts Dr. Richard Smart (Australia's 'flying vine doctor'), Virginia Tech's Tony Wolf, and Andy Allen North Carolina State University, sets our vineyard development plan on track in Graham county, NC.
